How I went from a decent dressed guy to one of the best dressed guys at the club,my city and my work place (Gym, Tan and laundry part 5)

gymtanlaundry5Hey guys I went from a normal  looking guy at the club to one of the best dressed guys at the club, my city and my work place. Now, I am not even exaggerating, if i take my age group to 10 years younger I am TOTALLY NUMBER ONE again in my city, clubs and at my job.  Second, if I go to a club and compete with the 20 and 30 year old top bracket, I am probably top 3 and most times even 1.

Why did i totally obsessed with style this year, well, the  reasoning is I used to rely totally on my dancing and game to get women. When a year ago the night game went to shit in my area, I tried to do everything possible to compete at a high level, one of the steps was to max out my looks, part of maxing out my looks was re-inventing my style. Now, it cost me a lot of time effort and thousands of dollars, till i finally got it right and became one of the most stylish guys in my area and probably number one in guys my age to 10 years younger. Again, I am not even exaggerating.

I believe I have even surpassed the promoter named “drake” who used to be the best dressed guy in my area. Moreover, every weekend I have guys and women commenting on my clothes and where do I get them or they show up trying to dress like me (even some community guys)…..Anyway, so now that I have this perfect, some bullet points so you guys save time and effort:

1.- Tailoring, tailoring, tailoring. You need to find a decent and cheap tailor and take your clothes to be adjusted, it makes a super super super huge huge huge difference, specially with jeans….  (THIS IS SUPER SUPER SUPER IMPORTANT, PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO IN THAT LINK, MANDATORY or as always you just wasted your time reading this blog).

2.- Find a professional model to model (again my go to guy as of now is Magic Fox, because he is older(in his 30s), similar built, hot women like him and fresh/simple styles.

3.- You need to be in shape, at least decent shape, this is huge for your clothes to fit right.

4.- Do not be afraid of experimenting with clothes (I even experimented with super skinny jeans which failed lol, but at least I tried and ripped jeans which i loved)

5.- Following number 4 do not wear super skinny, or even skinny, I highly recommend slim jeans and tailor the bottom to 15 cm and ankle height as explained by Magic Fox in the video.

6.- Use accessories/jewelry to peacock.

7.- Forget the bullshit of “dress your age” you can dress “your looks age vs your actual age”

8.- Periodically watch fashion channels. These are some channels I watch frequently:

https://www.youtube.com/user/xMadeInBrazil

https://www.youtube.com/user/AlphaMconsulting

9.- Survey your girls, female co-workers and your female friends…. Before I try or wear something I take a selfie and get opinions of 3-5 girls (some from my bullpen who can be harsher and some female friends/pivots)…..Also, I track with facebook/instagram (though I rarely do this, if you were to see my facebook/instagram you would think I am a virgin, since i suck at social media, plus  I changed my identity to a fake name due to the psycho/stalker women). This can even be used as a ping, and also this helps for some reason generate attraction my reasoning is “oh shit this dude cares about the way he dresses which is a male attractive trait).

10.- Track your outfit responses, as you cold approach taking into account your usual game, your usual vibe, your usual energy…. How many iois, approach invites etc… you get with given outfit….

Out!

Great article. Thanks for feedback on following a professional model, I didnt even think of that! I am currently revamping my wardrobe (professional job lots of networking) and mentally was thinking “dress like Daniel Craig james bond.” Following an instagram or pinterest model who has the look I am going for and my same build simplifies this process of guestimating “What would Bond wear?” Especially since I can find someone who looks a whole lot more like I do. Thanks again, stellar article

Tip #2 I just learned this year. What a difference it does make. Different companies use different cuts.

Tip #3 How I wish more people got this. Being in shape makes everything fit better. Also makes you feel more put together.

teachingmensfashion actually did a video, comparing cloths bought at walmart and a high end store. Even with the tailoring, looks like walmart still comes out cheaper.
